Balcony Compliance Inspection
For multi-residential units with three or more units, California law is now requiring full inspections of the balconies and exterior elevated elements (decks, porches, balconies, exposed stairways are some examples).
Here are the requirements:
SB 721: Requires an inspection of the balconies and elevated elements of the apartment buildings (3 unites or more), every 6 years
SB 326: Requires an inspection of the balconies and elevated elements, every 9 years
